On 12 June 2022, officers and members of the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad attended an Ice Cream Social at the Falcons Landing Military Retirement Community in Sterling. During the social, the residents of Falcons Landing presented Sterling Rescue and Sterling Fire with a donation totaling over $84,000.
