On 12 June 2022, officers and members of the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad attended an Ice Cream Social at the Falcons Landing Military Retirement Community in Sterling. During the social, the residents of Falcons Landing presented Sterling Rescue and Sterling Fire with a donation totaling over $84,000. These funds were raised during a 30-day internal fund drive that is held in the community each year to raise funds in support of the local fire and rescue agencies.
Sterling Rescue is very appreciative of the donations we receive each year from the Falcons Landing community, which in the past have gone to procure an Advance Life Support chase vehicle, a boat for water rescue, and protective gear / equipment that is required by our personnel.
The officers and members of Sterling Rescue thank the residents of Falcons Landing for their continued and unwavering support over the years and looks forward to our continued relationship.
